Privacy Policy — Pick Lines

Last updated:

Summary

This app works offline apart from advertising. It shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, which needs an internet connection and your device's Advertising ID. It does not collect your name, email, contacts, location or anything you create in the app.

What is stored on your device

Your selected categories, favourites, saved card designs, theme and notification preferences are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.

What leaves your device

Your pickup lines, favourites and card designs never leave your device. They are bundled with the app, not fetched from a server.

What does leave your device is limited to advertising. Google AdMob receives:

DataPurpose
Advertising IDSelecting and measuring ads
Approximate region (from IP)Ad relevance, legal compliance
Device type and OS versionAd formatting
Ad interaction data (views, taps)Measurement, fraud prevention

Google handles that data under its own privacy policy. You can see how Google uses data from apps that use its services here.

If you tap Share, the content you chose is handed to whichever app you pick. If you tap Rate us, the store app opens. Those apps have their own privacy policies.

Your choices

Permissions

Internet access is used only to request ads. Notifications deliver the daily reminders you enable in Settings. Photo access is requested only when you choose your own background image in the Line Maker, and that image never leaves your device. Storage access is used only when you save a card to your gallery.

Children

This app is not directed at children and is not part of the Designed for Families programme. Categories marked 18+ are hidden behind an age confirmation, and no ads are shown inside them.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page is updated before the change ships. The date at the top reflects the current version.
